We at DVS are proud to partner with Siemens in their groundbreaking step towards paperless trade. In collaboration with Bayerische Landesbank and thyssenkrupp, Siemens requested and had their first ever end-to-end digital guarantee issued through Guarantee Vault.
With the new postal regulations in Germany starting January 2025, paper-based guarantees will take three business days to reach their destination. Sending a PDF by email might seem like a solution, but the original document still needs to be physically mailed, taking three business days. Every guarantee amendment, release, or claim means will suffer from the same delay.
